How Canadian Xpress Tanlin (Was Nilnat) Works:
Canadian Xpress Tanlin contains microscopic crystals which, when ingested by fungus gnat or scarid fly larvae, perforate their digestive tracts and kills them. Although Tanlin does not kill the adult insects, it does break the reproductive cycle by killing the larvae which feed on your plant’s roots. Tanlin is completely safe, environmentally friendly and odour-free. Tanlin is also ideal for use as a preventative. Great product.
Using Canadian Xpress Tanlin:
Canadian Xpress Tanlin can be used in any type of grow-system and with any growing medium. For recirculating hydroponic systems simply add Tanlin to your reservoir at a rate of 1ml (40 drops)/100 litres and mix well. For run-to-waste systems using clay pebbles etc, mix 5 drops of Tanlin per 10 litres of grow-medium into 200ml of water and wet the entire surface of the medium. Repeat weekly. For soil or coco use, mix 5 drops of Tanlin to 500ml of water and wet the entire surface of the soil. Repeat weekly. Tanlin can be reapplied if necessary or can be used as part of your normal watering/feed routine.
