The Science

The extractor fan removes stale, hot air and moisture from the grow room and draws in fresh air. This way, you control the climate in the grow room and replace CO2 levels. You need a filter, especially if you're growing crops with strong odours. The carbon filter connects to the extractor fan and air is sucked out. The air leaves free of odour and clean.

How to Use

You must match the carbon filter with the fan you're using considering the airflow rate and the fans diameter. If the airflow level of your fan is too above the capacity of the filter, the air will flow through the filter too quickly and won't be cleaned. Install the filter inside the grow room and attach it to the extractor fan using Duct clips and ducting. Install the filter to the intake side of the extractor fan. Keep the humidity levels in your grow room at a level of between 40-60% to prevent damage to the filter.
