Overview

The IWS Autodrain Pro offers faster drainage and is perfect for larger growing operations or setups with over 24 pots. Designed for growers who prefer hand watering but want to eliminate stagnant water, the system ensures optimal root health, enhanced nutrient uptake, and a healthier grow. With automation and scalability, it’s the ideal solution for high-yield, hands-on growers.

Benefits

  • Prevents Overwatering: Rapidly drains excess water, reducing the risk of root rot and diseases like Pythium, while ensuring sufficient oxygen availability for roots.

  • Efficient Nutrient Monitoring: Allows growers to measure EC and pH levels in the run-off, fine-tuning nutrient delivery for optimal growth.

  • Improved Root Oxygenation: Draining away excess water creates air pockets in the root zone, preventing suffocation and promoting healthy root growth.

  • Time-Saving Automation: Automates the draining process, reducing manual labour and providing consistent care across larger setups.

  • Scalability for Larger Operations: Suitable for setups over 24 pots, the system can be expanded to meet the needs of any grow room size.

  • Consistency Across Plants: Ensures uniform growing conditions, supporting healthier, more productive plants.

How to Use

  • Connect the 25mm fittings and pipes securely to the Control Unit and stands.
Place pots on the provided stands, ensuring they are stable and aligned with the drainage system.
  • Water plants manually, allowing run-off to flow into the system.
Monitor the run-off collected in the Control Unit. Check EC and pH levels to optimise feeding schedules and nutrient concentrations.
  • The system automatically pumps run-off to waste when it reaches the lower float in the Control Unit, keeping the root zone free of excess moisture.
  • Periodically inspect and clean the Control Unit, fittings, and pipes to prevent blockages and ensure smooth operation.
